Property compliance, made simple.

For landlords, letting agents, businesses and property managers. Delivered by one team, through one point of contact.

Several contractors. Several invoices. Several sets of paperwork. Compliance First brings it under one roof.

Why one point of contact

Our own qualified engineers carry out the inspections, produce the reports and issue the certificates, so you deal with one company and get one consistent standard.

Some clients come to us for a single certificate; others hand us their whole compliance calendar and let us track the renewals, chase the remedials and keep the paperwork in order.

One visit, every certificate

Four disciplines. Often a single visit.

  1. 01

    Fire risk assessment

Hazards, people at risk and existing control measures, recorded in a clear written report with a prioritised action plan.

  2. 02

    Electrical installation condition report

The fixed wiring inspected and tested to BS 7671, with a plain-English summary of any coded observations.

  3. 03

    Landlord gas safety record

Every gas appliance, flue and pipework checked by a Gas Safe registered engineer, with each result recorded.

  4. 04

    Energy performance certificate

Assessed, lodged on the national register, and the recommendations explained in plain terms.

  5. Together

    One visit instead of four.

Because all our services are delivered in-house, we can often combine a fire risk assessment, EICR, gas safety check and EPC into a single visit. It saves you time and cost.

If you are responsible for a non-domestic premises, an HMO or the common parts of a block of flats, the law requires a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment. We carry it out on site and set out exactly what needs doing, in order of priority.

  1. 01A written report recording the premises, hazards, people at risk and existing control measures
  2. 02A prioritised action plan with timescales
  3. 03A summary suitable for landlords, insurers, licensing officers and the fire and rescue service
  4. 04A recommended review date
